Pair of 20th century Batik Polychrome pictures depicting shadow theatre figures from one of the plays of south Malay origin where shadow theatre is still practiced. Purchased from a private collection some 35 years ago. As originally presented, unglazed with wooden frames (not unexpectedly showing a little wear). One piece is signed "S Ban Yok" the other by "Irwan" Dimensions:- 95 x 72 cms. "Value my Stuff" valuations, which can be provided, price these at £200 - £250.
